CMA & NRM LANDCARE GROUPS

Grazing BestPrac has been working closely with several CMA’s, NRM groups and Landcare Groups in 2010 to deliver specialised carbon and resource management training. The courses have been developed for both grazing management and cropping management programs. These courses have been developed as a combination of the two flagship programs which GBP delivers under the Farm ready training subsidy, including the “Technology of Growing Grass” (TOGG) workshop and “Soil and Plant Nutrition” (SPN) workshop. These courses have been delivered in most regions of Queensland as well as northern, central and western New South Wales as part of the Caring For Our Country initiative and Community Action Grants.

More than 700 farmers have attended either individual or combined TOGG training since May 2009 and more than 120 have attended the SPN workshop. The specially tailored programs have been highly successful with graziers and farmers from all regions regarding this training as the best quality information and delivery they have ever experienced.

If you would like to know more about GBP delivering for your group or tailoring a program for your needs, please contact Mick on 0749 383919.
